How to buy a lotto ticket
- Go to an authorized PCSO lotto outlet, or PCSO's own official online platform where available.
- Choose six numbers, or ask for Lucky Pick.
- Pay per combination — check the outlet for the current price of each game.
- Sign the back of your ticket and keep it flat and dry. The ticket is your only proof.
Skip "lotto agents" on social media who take GCash and send you a photo of a ticket. If they vanish, you have no claim at all.
Claiming prizes and the 20% tax
- Prizes above ₱10,000 are subject to a 20% final tax.
- Small prizes: any authorized outlet. Larger prizes: PCSO branch offices. Jackpots: the PCSO main office.
- Bring the original signed ticket and two valid government IDs.
- You have one year from the draw date to claim, or the prize is forfeited.
A quick reality check
Ten Ultra Lotto tickets move your odds from 1 in 40.5 million to about 1 in 4 million. That's still extremely unlikely. Buy lotto as cheap entertainment that funds PCSO charity programs — never as a money plan.
